Emergency Medical Evacuation If you or your traveling companion suffers an injury or illness Global Emergency Travel Services will provide an emergency evacuation under medical supervision, if necessary, by whatever means necessary to the nearest facility capable of providing adequate care. Services include that Global Emergency Travel Services will: Make arrangement for and payment of the transportation Make arrangement for and payment of any necessary medical services, i.e. cost of medical escort.

Repatriation of Mortal Remains In the event of a member's death, Global Emergency Travel Services will render assistance and provide for the return of the mortal remains. Services include arranging and paying for: Locate a funeral home to perform the service of sending the body home; Transportation of the body to the sending funeral home and then to the airport; Necessary casket or air tray for transport; Coordination of consular services; Procuring death certificates; and Transport of the remains from the airport to the receiving funeral home.
Vehicle Return Global Emergency Travel Services will return your vehicle to you home or place of rental.

Depending on the medical and/or geographic situation, Global Emergency Travel Services will even retain the services of licensed consulting physicians and nurses and/or other medical professionals with relevant areas of expertise to assist in monitoring the member's condition.
Medical and Vaccine Delivery When unavailable locally and where legally permissible, Global Emergency Travel Services will assist in the dispatch of prescription medicines or vaccines.
Replacement of Corrective Lenses and Medical Devices Global Emergency Travel Services will coordinate the replacement of corrective lenses or medical devices if they are lost, stolen or broken during travel.
Dispatch of Doctors/Specialists If a member is hospitalized Global Emergency Travel Services may dispatch a physician or other health care professional to assist in determining the medical condition.
Medical Records Transfer Upon your consent, Global Emergency Travel Services will assist with the transfer of medical information and records to you or the treating physician.
Continuous Updates to Family, Employer and Physician With your approval, Global Emergency Travel Services will provide case updates to appropriate individuals you designate in order to keep them informed.
Hotel Arrangements Global Emergency Travel Services will assist in the arrangement of hotel stays and room requirements before or after hospitalization.
Transportation of a Traveling Companion Global Emergency Travel Services will arrange and pay for the transportation for you or your traveling companion in the case that one or the other requires a medical emergency evacuation or repatriation.
Return of Dependent Children If a member is hospitalized, Global Emergency Travel Services will arrange and pay for the return of minor children and/or grandchildren to their home and, if necessary accompany them with a traveling attendant.
Visit by Family Members or Friend If a member is hospitalized, Global Emergency Travel Services will arrange and pay for a round-trip ticket for a family member or friend of your choice to join you. Global Emergency Travel Services will also arrange suitable hotel arrangements for that individual and provide an allowance for that individual of up to $100 a day for boarding and meals.
Emergency Pet Housing and/or Pet Return While you are hospitalized, Global Emergency Travel Services will arrange to have your pet temporarily boarded. If you are either evacuated or repatriated and your pet is left unattended as the result of your injury or sickness, Global Emergency Travel Services will arrange and pay up to $500 for your pet to be either returned to your home or to a boarding facility near your home.
Emergency Cash Advance Assistance In an emergency, Global Emergency Travel Services will provide assistance to you by arranging for the forwarding of funds from your account, credit cards or family members.
Replacement of Lost or Stolen Travel Documents Assistance Global Emergency Travel Services will provide assistance to you by arranging for the replacement of passports, visas, airline documents, birth certificates and other travel-related documents.
Legal Referrals If a member is traveling away from home and is arrested, is involved in an accident or otherwise requires the services of an attorney, Global Emergency Travel Services will arrange for the initial telephone consultation with an attorney, without charge. Global Emergency Travel Services will also assist with the securing of a bail bond, if needed. If further legal assistance is needed, the member will be referred to an attorney in the appropriate geographical area.
Translation Services Global Emergency Travel Services will, without charge, provide foreign language assistance over the telephone or fax. If necessary, Global Emergency Travel Services will also provide referrals to translators and interpreters.
Emergency Message Forwarding and Assistance In the event a member is unable to reach an employer, family member or traveling companion, Global Emergency Travel Services will forward a message via telephone or email to the intended party.
